This is the third version of this Privacy Policy and was released in January 2021.

At Arcade Consulting we are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This privacy policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you give us when you use this website, subscribe to our newsletter, take one of our courses or contribute, comment, or provide your contact information both private and public to us in the process of understanding more about our services.

If we ever ask you to provide certain personal information such as an email address, phone number, information about your family or children, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy and our mutually agreed upon prior use.

What data do we collect?

Although you can visit our websites without giving us personal information about yourself, we may track and collect anonymous information about your usage, including the Internet protocol address from which you visit our site; browsing information including sites you visit before and after visiting our site; and other usage data from your browser, mobile phone or other devices including location data), which we may combine with other information. If you have signed into our website or service when this information is collected, it may be associated with other personal information you have provided to us. Cookies help us provide a better website by enabling us to analyze the pages that users have visited.

If you choose to make an inquiry via email through this site or direct through telephone or other means, then only the data you provide us will be stored, and we will use this information for our correspondence together. We may subsequently ask for further details such as your phone number or a colleague’s contact details. In these circumstances, we will make sure it is clear exactly why we are asking for the details and it will be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

If you choose to sign up for our newsletter, then the data entered will be stored for the time that you are subscribed to and added to our mailing list. You can opt-in or out, “unsubscribe” at any time by contacting us.

How do we use the data that we collect?

We collect your data solely to provide the service or information you have requested, such as to send you the newsletter, sign-you up for our offers, or respond to your inquiry. We don’t use your data for any kind of profiling or subsequent marketing.  We do not share this data with any other company or organization and will never sell or lease this information.

Who has access to the data we collect?

Any data collected about you by Arcade Media will be kept under Arcade Media’s control. We will not share, sell or lease your data to any company or organization outside Arcade Media unless you should be required to do so by law (e.g. court order, or a legal request from a law enforcement agency).

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.  You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

How long do we keep your data?

If you are subscribed to the newsletter or sign-up for one of our business packages we will keep these contact details until you unsubscribe or we agree to cancel, end or terminate our mutual client/customer contract whereby we will immediately remove your data from our systems that would be in violation of cookies and GDPR. However, all necessary information for the purposes of client relations such as email addresses, phone numbers, and future marketing preferences will be stored in our database for future contact and communication.

If you have emailed us with an inquiry, we will hold onto this data until we have satisfactorily responded to your query or while you are in discussions with us about working together.

Once we begin working together, we will hold your data for as long as you are a client, and for six months after, in case of follow up work. Once the dialogue or client relationship has come to a conclusion, we will remove your data from our systems after six months.

If we ever intend to keep your data for any longer than this we will make this clear to you.

Your Rights to information

You may choose to restrict the use of your personal information by emailing us or unsubscribing from the newsletter subscription list, the course sign-up list, or the blog lists by using the link at the bottom of the periodic emails.

Again, we will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless you have instructed us to or we are required to do so by law.

You may request details of personal information. If you would like a copy of the information held that is about you, please email us.

If you believe that any data we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
